Today’s podcast overview/transcript:

Good afternoon and welcome to another episode of Investorideas.com "Potcast" featuring cannabis news, stocks to watch as well as insights from thought leaders and experts.

In today’s podcast Investorideas interviews Malay Panchal, the Founder and CEO of Pure Global Cannabis Inc. (TSXV: PURE) (OTC: PRCNF), where we discussed recent developments within the company, industry trends in both the medical and recreational markets as well as Pure Global’s international partnerships.

Pure Global Cannabis Inc. recently announced receiving approvals from Health Canada to amend its existing license to add manufacturing capabilities via phase 2 of its already licensed facility in Brampton. Having completed their facility in the spring, the Company can begin cultivation and extraction immediately now that all approvals have been granted. This is a transformational event for the Company as it enables its own production as opposed to previously being dependent on wholesale purchases for its inventory hence significantly expanding its sales and margin potential.
Pure Global’s facility was designed and built to exceed regulatory standards. This approval enables the addition of a 10,000 square foot EU-GMP grade manufacturing space, comprising 12 rooms that will be used for the cultivation, processing, and extraction, to the Company’s already licensed site.
Panchal discussed  how Pure Global has helped differentiate themselves from other with regards to manufacturing saying, “in terms of manufacturing there a few companies who have been able to achieve EU GMP certifications necessary for international import/export and manufacturing capacities. To me this industry is not a sprint, it's a marathon and many have been sprinting and collapsing. You need to have the foresight and vigor to deploy operations that are going to result in a consistent product that is of a premium quality and that consumers can really trust. So our aim is to really deploy a higher grade of cannabinoid based products, including product lines like dry flower, edibles, concentrates and vapes. Our facilities has the ability to manufacture those at an EU GMP Grade and at a scale capacity.”
Panchal also went on to discuss the company’s joint development agreement with KMT-Hansa Corp. in respect of the processing, extraction, cultivation and manufacturing of hemp and related products across approximately 17,000 acres of land in the province of Yunnan. The Agreement will take advantage of the Hemp International Industry Park Special Economic Zone License granted to KMT by Yuanjiang County, Yuxi City, Yunnan Province, permitting the growth, cultivation, extraction and production of industrial hemp products for export. The license registration process is expected to complete within the next 60 days while operations are setup.

Pure Global will be the management and development partner in connection with the Project, with KMT providing the necessary resources and personnel. Pure Global will be responsible for the technology, know how, genetics and sales and distribution of hemp products produced in connection with the Project. The Company will design Good Manufacturing Practices compliant facilities and manage the development and deployment of the Project while overseeing the ongoing operations for the manufacturing and cultivation of high-quality hemp products and by-products, including CBD. Pure will have the right of first refusal to sell and distribute all manufactured products and by-products in all international jurisdictions.

KMT will be responsible for securing and maintaining all necessary permits and licenses with the Chinese Government and Authorities to grow, extract, process and export CBD and hemp by-products grown on the lands that have been government sanctioned for the region's economic development.

Panchal also went on to discuss what investors can expect next from Pure Global Cannabis as well as industry trends being noticed in the Canadian market.
